**There are two options for type of finish. One is with walrus oil which is mineral oil, beeswax, coconut oil and vitamin A. This option however needs to be re-applied every time you wash the board. It keeps it from drying out and keeping it fresh. The second finish is a clear coat which we spray on our high end tables. This option doesn’t require any maintenance. The only thing to keep in mind about the clear coat is the cure time. We like to get our orders to our customers within a week. This finish requires 3 weeks to fully cure. We will still send it within a week but we kindly ask you not to wash the board at least two weeks after you receive it.
